Michael P. Gilliland, OD
Dr. Gilliland grew up in Columbus. He did his undergraduate studies as well as his optometry schooling at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gilliland has been practicing optometry for over 20 years and continues to further his education, especially in the areas of contact lenses, eye disease evaluation and treatment and laser surgery co-management. Dr. Gilliland is a member of The Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He regularly donates his time to free vision screenings for underprivleged children and local schools. His professional interests include treatment of eye diseases and laser surgery co-management.
Dr. John Skrobot
Dr. Skrobot completed his undergraduate work from Ohio Dominican University. He graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1984. Dr. Skrobot then started his private practice in 1985. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.
Dr. Skrobot is married and has two daughters- Hannah and Mallory. Both daughters attend college and are involved in sports. Hannah participates in Track and Cross Country. Mallory participates in Lacrosse and Field Hockey.
The family attends services at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church. In his spare time, Dr. Skrobot also assists in the youth track team for the Columbus Diocese.
Nidhi Satiani, OD, MS
Nidhi Satiani, OD, MS, was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. After graduating from GlenOak High School, she moved to Columbus and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, her Doctor of Optometry degree, her Master of Science degree in Vision Science, and her Cornea & Contact Lens Residency certificate all from The Ohio State University. She is a Buckeye, through-and-through!
Dr. Satiani enjoys volunteering for the RealEyes classroom initiative through which she visits elementary schools to give presentations about the importance of eye health and safety. She spent several years working as an attending and teaching optometry students in various clinics at The Ohio State University College of Optometry including Primary Vision Care, Contact Lens, Student Health Services, and Ocular Prosthetics. She continues to help create the future optometric standards of care through working as a Senior Research Associate at The Ohio State University.
On a personal note, Dr. Satiani currently resides in Hilliard with her family. Outside of her time in the office, she enjoys recreational activities like biking and swimming. Dr. Satiani firmly believes in preventive medicine and is interested in helping you become an active participant in promoting and maintaining the health of your own eyes. She would be honored, of you chose her to be your eye doctor.
